Bone Healthy Recipe Video: Chia Seed Smoothie


 

CHIA SEED SMOOTHIE RECIPE

1-1/2 cup Original Unsweetened Almond Milk (or other milk of choice)

2 TB chia seeds

1 TB vanilla

1 TB coconut oil (unrefined, organic, cold-pressed)

1-2 TB Honey

1 cup frozen blueberries (you can use fresh, but add 4 ice cubes)

1 banana

pinch of cinnamon

DIRECTIONS:

1) Place chia seeds in a bowl with 1/2 cup of almond milk. Stir to combine. Set aside for 10 minutes.

2) Place 1 cup almond milk, blueberries, banana, vanilla, coconut oil, honey, chia seed mixture and cinnamon in blender.

3) Blend.

SERVING SIZE: ONE LARGE OR TWO SMALL SERVINGS
